Istanbul Arel University, founded on May 18, 2007, by Kemal GÖZÜKARA and a higher educational institution, is among the top Turkish universities. Situated on the European side of Istanbul, the university boasts a distinguished ranking in Turkey, with over 736 experienced teaching staff members. The university comprises various faculties, vocational schools, and institutes, such as the Faculty of Health Sciences, Architecture and Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Medicine, and Fine Arts. In addition, it has two institutes, one for sciences and one for social sciences. Istanbul Arel University has a diverse student body of over 20,000 students from multiple countries.

Important Note:

Students must attend at least 70% of lectures. English and Turkish are the university’s official languages. Those planning to enroll in English-taught majors without proof of English proficiency, such as a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 8, must complete an English preparatory year. Some departments, like Graphic Design and Textile & Fashion programs, require students to pass an Aptitude Test. The university also offers two-year programs at vocational schools for students seeking practical experience.

Istanbul Arel University provides accommodations in the Tepekent district, with separate dormitories for male and female students. Dormitory rooms vary in size and fees depending on the size and services offered.
