About Atılım University

Established on July 15, 1997, in Ankara, Atilim University spans over 250,000 square meters and is dedicated to providing high-quality academic education, conducting research to generate new technologies, and advancing scientific theories. According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE), Atilim University ranks fourth among Turkish universities and second among Turkish institutions participating in physical scientific research.

Atilim University comprises 40 academic programs across various faculties, including Engineering, Law, Management, Fine Arts, Architecture, Health Sciences, Civil Aviation, and Distance Learning. The university also offers postgraduate studies in natural, social, and applied sciences.

Scientific Research

Atilim University adopts an advanced research approach to produce innovative researchers. It fosters a scientific research culture among students and faculty members by providing administrative and financial support for research, planning, developing, and executing trade and industrial projects.

The primary goal of Atilim University’s scientific research is to contribute to national and global scientific advancements. Consequently, the university presents research projects at conferences and events at the end of each academic year. Additionally, 150 laboratories are available for students and faculty members to conduct research.

Important Note

• For Civil Aviation Training: students must undergo the department’s test at a designated Turkish hospital in Istanbul, referred to as the “Pilots Test’s First Class.” Additionally, students must pay a training fee of 50,000 euros.
• The aviation program lasts four years, encompassing both theoretical and practical training.
