The IELTS is among the most significant and internationally recognized English language proficiency exams. It evaluates an individual’s ability to communicate effectively in English and is designed by a team of elite and experienced language experts. The exam is continuously updated to align with practical and academic advancements, and it is known for its precision in execution and objective results.
Academic: This module is chosen by individuals who wish to pursue higher education in any country around the world.
General Training: This module is selected by those who intend to immigrate or work in a specific field in any country worldwide.
Listening test: This section consists of four audio clips, designed to measure listening skills. Participants answer a set of questions related to the clips within a 30-minute time limit.
Reading test: This section has 40 questions, assessing reading skills in English. The time limit for this part is one hour.
Writing test: In this section, candidates are required to write an essay in English to evaluate their language abilities, vocabulary, and knowledge of English grammar. The time limit for this task is one hour.
Speaking test: In this part, a conversation takes place between the test-taker and an English language expert. The dialogue is in English, and the duration of this section does not exceed 14 minutes.
Note: The IELTS exam is not recognized by Turkish universities, but it is accepted in Cyprus.
